Dumble amplifiers don't have a send-return stage. The Dumbleator takes care of this. It sets the right impedances in the effect loop so there is no single loss.

The device is pretty meaningless without a Dumble amp.

I dont know much about dumble stuff, only that its expensive...but i thought only the amps were expensive!
