I looking around for floyd equipped guitars and found this. It looks like a jackson copy but i haven't heard anything on johnson guitars in general. The only think i've seen is an acoustic that my friend has thats good quality and sounds good so im hoping that is goes to electrics as well. Any thoughts?

My advice is keep a distance. That licensed floyd rose looks CHEAP. And believe me, the junkier floyd copies are more trouble than they are worth. It's bad economics to buy a junk floyd and have to replace it with a bridge that will cost more than the guitar you bought.

Perhaps look at a s/h Korean Peavey Wolfgang. That has a cast metal floyd, which is cheaper than the one they use on US wolfgangs, but it's a decent quality unit. I also recommend the Ibanez edge trem.
