  • HUMIDITY & YOUR ACOUSTIC

I asked about this a while back when I bought a new acoustic.....just stumbled upon a good article I thought I'd share:

The effects of humidity on your instrument. The methods you use in caring for your guitar will vary from summer to winter, from area to area, whether you live in Los Angeles, Montreal, Europe or Japan.

Good info on this site.....THANKS TO BLUDAVE!!!!

    Re: HUMIDITY & YOUR ACOUSTIC

The weather is so dry where I live, the hills above us are in flames right now.

I actually dip my Martin into the swimming pool once a year, just to keep it humidified.

Just kidding! But, I do throw away those silicon packs that come in the case.
    Totally unnessesary.
