I always thought that fender guitars had a 24.3/4 inch scale but it sees the specs for all of thier guitars now have a 25.5 scale length. I thoguhtt hey used to be shorter. Whats the deal here or is it justa mistake?

Its always been 25.5" for Strats and Teles, the shorter scale lengths are on Duo Sonics, Cyclones and guitars like that. -
