    anybody have any experience with a vht pitbull 45 head i am looking for something for crunchy/bluesy tone that sings in the "warren haynes/gary moore/thin lizzy" type stuff nice clean and a nice gain channel that can get over the top if need be !!!!!!!!!!!! thanks scott

    I'm guessing you could get that tone out of the gear you have. Did you ever buy that 30Th Ann Marshall you were talking about? The 2204 is probably similar.

      i sold the 30th anniversary it just diddn't sound that good my sl-x sounded better!! i played a pitbull45 the other day and my 2204 covers most of that ground but it did sound nice !!!!!!!!!

        I was at Tone Merchants in Orange County one day, and someone was testing a bunch of nice amps, including a Pitbull that I thought had one of the best tones - it was a 50 watt 1x12 combo.

        the sad thing is that Pitbulls were had at some pretty good prices when GC discontinued them
