Don't you think getting an active pickup with a solid state amp is kinda pointless?
The high output those pickups output is more or less meant to push a tube amp into overdrive/distortion.
You don't have any tubes to push.

I have a Rocktron RT122C, when i tryed it i like it better then most of the tube apms i tryed, i Also have a Carvin MTS for my blues but i'm going to play with my rocktron when i get my live wire metal.
P.S so what would be a good pickup in the neck with it.

I've read the same.
Just make sure you have a good amp. Active pickups bring out the best and worst in your rig. Playing active pickups through a mediocre amp will bring out the mediocraty. Playing them through an excellent amp will bring out the excellence.

Guys I need your help!!!!!
I have a Jackson WRXT and want to change the pickups with a Live wire metal in the BRIDGE but what would goes good with it in the neck. I dont' need a clean sound for this guitar I have guitars for that. I just what to play metal with this guitar.The sound I am looking is something like Lamb of god and I also what to have a FAT plammute sound to. I also know that they sell a live wire metal humbucker set do any of you know of this pickup would sound in the neck. O just one more thing will this give me that Zakk wlyde type of Pinch Harmonics.
