There's two sides to that. A semi-hollow strat body without any holes will give you that airey quality without having to worry about feedback from amplifiers. In addition to Warmouth, Tom Anderson makes hollow strats as well as John Suhr. Both are top-notch but pricey.Comment

A friend has one of those bodies from Warmoth, but you dont know it's hollow, you know? The body weighs in at almost 4 pounds, and the thing has some fat tone.
