  • What neck with chambered mahogany/korina body?

I'm contemplating getting warmoth's chambered body option on a mahogany/white korina body with maple cap.

What neck and fingerboard woods would best suit this combo?
I'm asking this to try and get a guitar with a balanced sound that can still bite. Basically trying to get best of both worlds (gibson/fender).

Also. How would a chambered body affect the sound of hard rock tones?

    Thanx

You'll love the chambered body. It'll be a richer sound with a different attack than a comparable solidbody. AS for the neck, I'd go with maple and either rosewood or ebony. Ebony will be brighter than rosewood but fatter than maple, while rosewood will give the notes a rounder attack.
    Ain't nothin' but a G thang, baby.
