  • Classic 30 pot cleaning??

I am about to clean out the pots. I just gave it a quick look and it looks like I will be pulling the chassy. Is there a prefered way of doing that? I figured I would get out the electric screwdriver and go for it.

    Thanks

Unscrew it and the chassis should pull right out. Just use a little care and you should be fine.

Hey Lou; I don't know if this will do you any good if you've already started, but IMO. this is the best stuff there is. Spray it into the pots once, and you'll probably never need to do it again. Its that good:

Don't forget to release the reverb tank (2 screws in the plastic bag if I remember correctly) and disconnect the speaker wires and the clips that hold the mains and reverb wires to the case. I usually take out at least the power tubes, one slip 'o the wrist and you'll need a retoob!
