ok i usually play 11's in standard, but i have two acoustics now since my sister quit and i now have hers.

    I want a guitar in D standard

would 13 17 26 36 46 58 be too high tension with that 58 bass in comparsion to the 52 bass i was using in E?

or should i use a different brand set with a 56 bass instead.

    thanks

The 58 would probably be ideal, but you could try 12-56 to possibly get as close as you could to the 11's that you use at the moment.
