Good Acoustic-Electrics?

What are some good Acoustic-Electrics and can you use regular amps or would you have to have an acoustics amp?

Thinking about getting a Dean Exotica FM- flamed gloss natural.

Doesn't matter if u Amp, Acou-Amp or DI it.

Try an Alvarez.

5000 dollar quality for 500 bucks.
