  • Dean Vendetta 3.0

Hey guys, Im going down the long tedious road of finding the Ultimate H x H hardtail Shredmachine for under $700. (Family is helping me get one for x-mas so I can do some lessons)
I came across this Dean Vendetta, and I really like the 3.0 in copper finish. Anyone have any experience or opinions on this guitar? I will be playing one before I make the choice, but Im not very experienced, So any ideas or comments beforehand would be greatly appreciated.

I've played around with one at a store a couple of times. The Vedetta series guitars play well, and look to be well built. I think a Vendetta would work great for you.

I just picked up a Vendetta 3.0 in flip pearl. The guitar is awesome. The inlay is fabulous and the guitar is built very well. The bridge is a tonepros and the tuners are grovers(top notch stuff). The guitar is extremely light(about 6 pounds i would guess). You'll be very happy with it.

Theres a seller on Ebay(name is tsfitlp) who owns a music store just down the road from the Dean factory in Florida. He has the exclusive rights to all the Dean scratch and dents(factory mishaps). Very good seller. I got mine shipped with Dean hardshell case for $378. Only has a very small ding in it. The only problem is, he doesn't know what hes going to get from day to day. You just have to check his Ebay store periodically. Good luck in your search.

Panzer is loved for introducing me to these guitars!
I get to go to a lot of overseas places, like Canada.

Schecter C-1s are nice and play a little better in my opinion.

The c-1s have alot going for them. Although when I looked at one I couldnt get around the fact that there was a knob right under the bridge. That ruins the entire guitar in my opinion.

I like it. Dean also made a PRS-a-like a couple of years ago that I played and thought it was pretty nice. They were going for something like $500 new with a flame top and a WIlkinson trem or hard tail bridge.

No way! - I was on the phone to my Uncle in Florida the other day, and he was telling me about that guy, he's brought like 6 guitars off him.

I'm pretty sure its the same guy, how weird!?
