  • What do yuo think about this...??

    I can buy a MIU Charvette by Charvel (H-S) with rosewood fingerboard, maple neck, unknown body (any ideas??) serial no. 005825, for about 200$ without pickups.. If anybody could tell me sth about i'd be happy..

      Hey edi; I'll take a pop at this since no one else has. I don't know anything about that guitar, but $200 seems like a decent price for a Charvel. The fact that it doesn't have p'ups saves you the trouble of removing them when you put the new Duncans in.

      Is this guitar somewhere where you can hold it, and caress it. If you like how it feels, and how it looks - go for it.

        ArtieToo the problem is the seller don't know what he's selling (not my problem actually) and i don't know anythig about charvels.. If you want i can put a foto here..

          200 bucks for a Charvette is only ok if itīs in pristine condition and a higher end model with JT-6 Trem (Floyd copy with fine tuners underneath the tail), with hardshell case.

          The body on most is plywood or compressed sawdust (some are alder or basswood, but very few). The necks and hardware are good, though. The Original pickups were decent, but most players replaced them. But they are becoming a bit sought after, at least the usa pickups on some of the higher end ones (even these retailed at about 350 new, btw)

          A pic would help more in identifying it
