Well, I'm going to try this, note the differences, and post back!!

... though, I must admit, the thought of a 50W Knucklehead makes me sad!

Wow thanks Ben, that'd be great! Too bad the seller hasn't responded yet though can't wait to have this thing in my room. BTW, if it doesn't sound as good I might be able to trade it up for a Knucklehead Reverb 55W+a minor payment from their side, not too sure though, seller removed his ad.

Neeradj, it's actually on my plate for this weekend. I spent last weekend tracking solos. (Go to Tips + Clips and you can hear 'em!)

Okay, I just pulled the inner tubes out an hour ago, and have been dialing in a good tone.
I will be making a few clips showing my results, and will post a full review before the weekend is over, I hope!

Take all the time you need, the Rivera probably isn't due to two weeks or so. And clips to compare, man that would be so cool!

              Thanks again Ben!

Okay, I did it! I just tracked a series of 6 clips, each one with the same riff. The channels and gain settings changed throughout ... I'll post the full review in TIPS AND CLIPS and will post the link here for ya ... It was pretty educational, as the clips will show! It also reinforced what I love in the Rivera -- it's amazing tone, note clarity, harmonic complexity, and taughtness, while still managing to sound bright and chimey, instead of dark and clautrophobic (coughMesacough)
