    I want a black pickguard on my black strat body. I dont know if I should go with single ply black or BWB ...

        The Fender black engine-turned and black pearl pickguards look way cool and add some nice texture to the look, especially with black pickup covers and black or chrome Tele-style knobs. I almost bought a hardtail Strat like that -- still kick myself occasionally for passing on it.

            My little bro is doing something similar to his Parts-o-caster. He's doing a SSS satin finish Aluminum pickguard on a black strat, Tele knobs, black pickup covers, satin nickel finish Wilkinson 6 point trem, and Satin nickel finished Sperzel tuners.
            Ain't nothin' but a G thang, baby.

              Why don't you make some guitars with kisekae? That way you can compare all the options yourself.
