    Is it possible to get a pedal which meets the tones of the Mesa mark IV?

    maybe this time, but im just guessing that the V twin pedal might, might be able to do it. but nothing else can capture that smoothness

      A V-Twin will get you reasonably close, but only a Mk.IV sounds like a Mk.IV

            The best a pedal will do is get you something close to the preamp of a Mk IV (like the V-Twin). But, if you don't have that power amp.......

              Man Mk. IV's are more complicated than Russian airplanes! I've tried... there's no way to get any of its sounds in pedal form. Maybe you can get close to ONE sound in a pedal but its still gonna be a ways away.

                yea, there is one Mk.IV sound in a box.. it's called the M/B Mk.IV combo
