              They're expensive new($1400)... but you could possibly find a used mesa rectoverb for around 900. I think the extra 300 would be completely worth it. It sounds huge!!! more like a 2x12 or bigger. It also has one of the best clean sounds ever.

                I just picked up a used Peavey Classic 30 for $300. Like the overdrive better than my old Fender Hot Rod DeVille 2x12. Cleans are comparable. I notice the Peavey's chassis gets buzzy and has power tube noise with moderate volume. The Fender never had that problem. Those things can be fixed, and for $300, it's a great bang for buck deal.
