Re: Has anybody here actually owned or extensively played an Ed Roman guitar?
I think Grover Jackson summed it up when he called Ed Roman a Pirate during his chat with us.
Thing is to read what Ed says about himself why is it I had never heard of him till I started to come on to guitar boards a couple of years ago. I'm not claiming to be an expert on the history of the electric guitar but in his mind he is a more important figure than Ted McCarty, Grover Jackson, Paul Reed Smith and Wayne Charvel. Yet I've heard of all of them.
He's just the guitar equivalent of the dodgy used car salesman. A big lot but you would be better off going to the main dealer.
