Hi Folks,
A little confused so...help? Are there multiple versions of the Sheraton II (not taking about the Sher v Sher II...I know about that)?
I saw a black Epi JLH Sher II w/ gold hardware today in a local shop and I'm trying to figure what it's worth offering...or even if...
-It is the II with the stop tail piece.
-Pearloid pickguard
-Says Boogieman inlaid in the fretboard. (definitely)...not on the pickguard (I will have to look again to be sure about that part).
-Full sized humbuckers if I am not mistaken.
-John Lee Hooker engraved on the trussrod cover.
-There are a couple just like it on Ebay for about $1600, but...that don't necessarily mean squat.
So...is this thing worth $500 or $1500...or...?
I do appreciate the help...if I hadn't been so rushed I'd have been more deliberate and taken pictures.
