For those of you who are familiar with this guitar I've been getting up to speed over the years...it's finally "done". I brought it to Bill Baker at Dave's Sound about a month ago, and I picked it up last week or so. Oh my goodness, the guitar plays like a dream, and with the C5 in the bridge, it is like a mix of vintage goodness mixed with power grind. The middle pickup is the original, and it is very trebly, and the neck is the Dimarzio VV Blues, and that's a bit bright. I've gotta try the Antiquity Surfer neck or something like that because I like that smoky SRV type neck sound. Don't know if I can get it with the Asian ash body, but we'll see. But as far as the action, playability and tone, wow! Just wow. Right up there with anything I put a Brobucker in.
