manufacture year?

I got this Jackson Kelly std, i suppose its a japan import and i'd like to know its year of production. i've already checked out jackson site, but they only provide U.S. made serials, so i wonder anyone can help me find it?

the serial is J000902, Jackson Kelly STD.
