roller bridge killing sustain?

I swapped pickups and the bridge on my 355 and noticed a severe lack of sustain afterwards. The bridge is a wilkinson roller bridge. I'm guessing that is the culprit.
should I put the stock bridge back on and get some graphtech saddles in the near future? is it definitely the bridge causing this? what else could it be?
