ESP LTD EC neckdive?

Title says it, has anyone had issues with the ESP LTD EC models and neckdive? I'm interested in a EC of some sort (Either a EC401 of some sort, or if I can find a good price for them, a EC1000 or EC 1000T/CTM)

The CTM i'm not really worried about, but the thinner bodied EC's I am, as I would have thought they might have neckdive issues, or does it sit at a nice comfortable angle when standing?

Thanks all!

I never had an issue with the ec401. I always found it to be quite balanced. It was a shame I couldn't get on with how the guitar felt when sitting down and recording though :(

The viper 400 on the other hand. Amazing sitting down but reinvents the term neck dive when standing

just the opposite problem
i get butt dive with the EC-400vf when i'm sitting down
the rear end wants to slide right off my leg

This was my exact problem. I found it virtually impossible to get comfortable with sat down. You can't even play it in the classical position either really as the rear end is massive.

And seen as i'm not playing in a band currently 90% of my playing Is done sat down.

the only ltd neck dives ive experienced was the alexi-600, and the second generation ninja, which are both v's. never had any kinda neck dive problem on any ltd EC's. nice guitars for the bread.

The bodies are thinner and so are the necks. I imagine that would probably balance out just fine.

I have that problem with mine too. I'm glad to see I'm not alone.

I have 2 LTD EC models, an EC1000FR & an EC400VF and have had zero problems with neck dive.
