My EB EVH Wolfgang Clone Upgrade Suggestions

So as you'll see in my Sig and some pics I took last week, I have a EB MM/Wolfgang clone that was built some years ago by Dan Shinn at Lay's Guitars & belonged to one of my best friends that passed away years ago so it has a lot of sentimental memories, he was big time into Eddie Van Halen and he also put a Spiderman sticker on it and nicknamed it the "Spiderman Guitar" :) I have no idea what kind of wood the body is, might be basswood but it does have a good amount of weight to it? It needs setup & some TLC as you can see in the pics, the pickups are bolted directly to the body & I'm assuming both pickups are Dimarzio Super Distortions just looking at them and the pole pieces. The floyd rose is an original but as you can see some of the parts have lost finish, etc. I've thought about getting a chrome EVH D-Tuna for it and thought about swapping the pickups out? One post I read online a guy said he was using a Anderson H2+ in his Musicman in the bridge position saying it sounded really good but I really like Seymour Duncans

I would leave the trem alone, that's a nice unit. When it comes to pickups, what is you want, exactly? Something similar to the Super distortion in the bridge? Alternative 8 (my new mistress ;) . Neck? 59/custom hybrid. I really like that pickup in the neck, set up low. More vintage? pearly gates set. Any pickup in this baby will work well. Just tell us what you want and we will help you out.

oh, a patb1/2 hybrid would sound smokin in this baby!
