ok, ive got a cheapo Oscar Schmidt acoustic......i then proceeded to install a ibanez powersound humbucker (another cheapo item) into the soundhole of the acoustic.........what resulted is magical and this thing sounds brilliant, theres somethin just magical about the sound considering the parts being used and what not
well, what ive got is a very delta - blueish rough sounding guitar with a TON of bass........and a TON of feedback, its great because the high notes i can just wiggle forever and its great, however the bass strings begin to vibrate a bit too much and its uncontrolable............
what are some ways to contain this feedback without killing the tone? stuffin foam? how do other acoustic electrics contain this problem? is there a device and component i could put within the circuit to limit this?
