Man this thing has an insane amount of low end. This is the ash body matte black version of the guitar. Super responsive guitar-super loud acoustically. For some weird reason, it has a huge amount of low end. Even with the TB-10 Full Shred bridge pickup, which most people say is very bright and without low end.
Is Ash usually super bass heavy? I did a comparison between this guitar, my 2015 Fender MIM strat w/ SH-9 Silverbird bridge pickup and my 1988 Les Paul Custom w/ Gibson 500T bridge pickup. This Charvel has more output and low end. I even played it through 2 different amps- A 5150 III 50w Combo and my Peavey Ultra Plus half stack. Same result.
