Re: Oh No! A New Project...
It's the new "Goblin Green Flake" from Warmoth!
It really runs the gamut from lime green to nearly yellow! Lots of movement at different angles. There have to be 3 or 4 different color flakes in it!
Here's another teaser to show the finish up close (the pickup and hardware are just there for visualization, not installed yet):

Yeah, thats wicked cool! I love color changers like that. Sadly, sold both the guitars I had that had that kind of effect.Believe me when I say that some of the most amazing music in history was made on equipment that's not as good as what you own right now.

Re: Oh No! A New Project...
Thanks, guys!
It's a really lightweight Swamp Ash Telecaster body with full contouring (forearm, tummy, heel, etc). I had it routed for a Wilkinson VS401 trem I've been holding onto for what seems like forever.
I'm going to reshape the traditional Strat headstock on that beautiful flame maple Warmoth neck above to Warmoth's own "Warhead" shape, which I think is actually much nicer looking than the traditional "Tele" headstock on all but vintage-styled Teles.
I'm a little torn on pickups, but right now I'm leaning toward a Van Zandt Vintage Plus single in the neck matched with a Wilde (Bill & Becky Lawrence) L90 8H twin rail humbucker that I picked up before Bill passed away, but still haven't put in a guitar.

I had it laying around from another project I decided to go a different direction on. Crazy thing is, I had taken pictures and was getting ready to list the neck for sale the same day that I came across Warmoth's announcement about their 2 new flake finishes:
