If you're not bending much, go heavy on the plain strings and medium on the wound. Like 13,17,24,32,42,52 or something. Lots of clarity and punch.

    Is it semi-hollow or full?

I haven't measured scale lenght and didn't thought to ask. Must do that tomorrow.

I think it does make some difference, it's that smooth to play. It has brand new looking set of 11's, I was sure those we're 10's when I tried it.

    Thanks!

Made in Germany Klira Trimphator from 1960's. The pickup and pickguard are later additions. Plays really smoothly and sounds great. Higher strings/frets seem to have slight loss of sustain, but that might be just my lack of practice with acoustic guitar.

The clarity and clean sounds amplified are amazing. I didn't really expect how pristine this type of guitars can sound with good pickup. Such balanced, perfect clean tone. I have no idea what pickup it has.
