      Great clarity, very articulate, good highs but not piercing, more mids than the '59, a bit more power when needed, splits extremely well.

      Give me a hybrid over a JB any day! (Although I do have one guitar with a JB in it that sounds super...I'm not necessarily a JB hater).
      Very well stated! Its been awhile since Ive played my JB loaded guits, nor do I have any guitars with 59s in the bridge (lots of neck 59s!) so I didnt want to try and make a comparison.

      This is great to hear!! Glad its tripping your trigger! In the right guitar, the JB is incredible. I have a stock one in my 80s Kramer and wouldnt dream of swapping it. Im sure that is why the JB has been around for ever, a staple in many guitars/guitarists arsenals and heard on tons of recordings
