Hi all,
Hopefully this isn't a controversial question... had my first experience with Fender parts today and it wasn't quite what I expected.
I ordered a set of stamped saddles and an F logo neckplate online, they arrived in all the Fender packaging and appeared to be legitimate and unopened.
However, the neck plate is warped, and on some of the saddles the tapped bridge screw hole isn't straight.
I was really surprised that the overall quality seemed poorer than the Squier parts they were going to replace.
Does this seem out of the ordinary for replacement parts, or may I have inadvertently purchased 'fakes'? Admittedly they weren't particularly expensive ($10 for the neckplate and just under $20 for the saddles).
thanks for any insight.
