As the guitarist I agree -that's a lot of fun....but the kid at front of stage facing your speaker at eye level disagrees.....

At rehearsal my 2x12 combo is on a stand behind me, about waist level. I made the mistake of sitting on a stool in front of it at rehearsal last night for a moment. It was ear level. That hurt! lol

Was similar to when I saw Silver Sun Pickups a few years back, and the girl I was with wanted to stand right at the edge of the stage in front of his Hi-Watt amp. That was painfully loud!
