Another one that I use (and recommend) is www.photobucket.com it is completely free and you can use it for ebay, live journals, message boards, online auctions and online photo albums. It is reliable, fast and very simple to use. You can easily upload, link, categorize, add titles to images and add more albums as needed. Your pictures are safe and will not be deleted. Best of all, direct linking is allowed. Let me know if you have any problems and I'll get back and explain how its done but it is fairly straightforward.
It also allows you to upload all your images and will automatically limit the size to 250K and I have posted fairly large images on here without any problems i.e:
