This all analog 1/2 rack space unit actually delivers 3 effects in one if you run in stereo (which I do). Everything is footswithable. There is the chorusing effect which is very subtle yet effective and very natural sounding, then there is the MIX effect where you can go from a straight mono sound to a very WIDE mix where it sounds like you are enveloped in sound, then there is the "long chorus" effect which boosts the signal somewhat and adds a really tight (maybe 40ms) delay which is great for parts you want to stand out.

Sounds really good. What are these worth?

Hey Stevo!, is that the Maxon CS-9 Pro chorus pedal or the CS-505 you're speaking of?
I've been wanting to try the Maxon CS-9 Pro but my local music store that carries Maxon pedals is not stocking the CS-9 Pro!
I have the Maxon CS-505 and it is the best sounding chorus pedal I have ever heard hands down, but it's not true bypass and I won't use it on my pedal board because of that reason! I instead use it mounted on a rack tray hooked into a true bypass audio switching unit for "Chorus" in my rack system.
I hate to buy pedals without trying them out first but if the CS-9 Pro sounds as good as the CS-505, I think I'll buy one without the test drive!

I have one of the original T.C. Electronics Chorus/Pitch Shifter/Flangers, wouldn't trade it for anything. The flanger sucks though.

I had a purple Ibanez chorus once, sold it due to I did not use chorus very much.
Then I got a good deal on an Ibanez RC-99 chorus, with the extra mix and delay knob it really is very useful.
Love the sound of it, it does all the things I want from a chorus.

I've been using a Dano Cool Cat 18v model (sounds better than the newer 9v ones). Give a listen in the clips section, look for the "Hendrix-style thing".

PS - that's recorded using a TM 10, too One amp I'll never be without!

I LOVE the chorus effect of my Dano Cool Cat (also the 18v model...I haven't heard the 9v model). However, it adds a weird noise to the end of my notes when they are decaying...does anyone else have this problem or is my pedal just messed up?

If I could get this fixed, I'd never use my CE-2 again...heheh.

I also use CH-1 and it is not that bad as mentioned...actually it is much more better than other choruses at the same price range...I've set up two nice presets, one for normal chorus and one for deep chorus then switch between them for my needs...it sounds good to my ears but I should really judge after hearing the other pedals you mentioned above but sadly there aren't much choices here...anyway CH-1 gave me the best amongst the pedals I've tried so far...

I think the Rockman Stereo Chorus is worth it's weight in gold! I paid less than $100 for mine on EBay. There's always a few up for auction. And you can probably land one for under $100.

I stray from the pack on this one. I like the CoolCat, but it's kinda one-dimensional. Never could figure out why the Rockman line never took off either.

I use a DOD FE65 Stereochorus. But I only use it for acoustic work or the acoustic line of my Parker.
