China, says so on the back of the headstock if you zoom in

That said, if it's built right, it doesn't really matter.

My nephew has one. I set it up for him, and it's killer. However - you can used ones for less.....

The Electromatic series is great, but I don't think I'll ever buy another guitar with a licensed Bigsby. Probably not a real one, either, but def not one of the cheaper variants. Just more headache than it's worth.

Now there’s a direct threaded bigsby that supposed to return to zero better than the wrap around kind.

That has, unfortunately, not been my experience.

Interesting! I haven't heard of that.

Did you have the setup done by a competent and experienced luthier?

Oh, man...THAT'S what I forgot! I knew there must have been something!

Which is to say: Yes, I did. And I arrived at a compromise position that I could live with, but which also convinced me that, as much as I love hollowbodies, the Bigsby design isn't for me. Too much hassle, for no real upside other than looking cool.

Yup. They do look cool.... And they only work for 50's style vibrato... But if that's the gig...

Bigsby s are fine for the effect they are named for: vibrato. Anything else and it’s a tuning train wreck.

Any MMF situation is a stupid deal. I only go for MFF situations. Is it the guy that you are tempted by? Not judging...
