Why don't you try rosewood oil? I got a bottle at GNC, the nutrition store, think it was like $5...

Most rosewood oil (if it is actually rosewood oil) is super concentrated for scent, and might make your house smell like that for weeks. Hopefully, you like the way it smells.

Are you supposed to ingest it?

I dont think lemon juice and lemon oil are the same thing

I dont think rosewood oil is like lemon oil

But I do think rosewood oil is an essential oil like eucalyptus oil
And those are made to for aroma therapy

Got these hand carved Rosewood Manchurian figurines in Hong Kong. The craftsmanship & detail are amazing.

A very good local guitar tech and repair guy just told me today he uses Circa 1850 lemon oil and naphtha to clean the board if needed.
Circa 1850 apparently has no silicones or wax.

I use naptha to clean after fretwork or if the guitar/FB is super funky. Safe for nitro finishes too.
A dab will do ya with that stuff.
