  • Inlay question for the luthiers/techs.

I have an Ibanez guitar the has very difficult to see side markers on a dark stage.
I poked around on them and noticed that I could easily push them below the surface of the neck. I removed the inlay plastic with a small hand drill and now I’m ready to glue them new side markers in.
I decided to replace them with luminlay material and I’m wondering if there is a specific glue I should be using to glue them in?
Or is a standard wood glue sufficient?

    Titebond will work fine.

I always use superglue gel. But anything will work.

I ordered a small hand drill and removed all of the old plastic inlay material.
Next I’ll glue in the Luminlay and give it a little time to dry. After that, the sanding process

Any tips/secrets to successfully accomplishing that is also much appreciated!!
