I like everything except the peppermint wheels and the atomic fireballs. Those I keep for driving, to keep me alert behind the wheel. I do like taffy, Smarties, Tootsie Rolls, Bit-O-Honey. It may take me a while, but I eventually eat all of it.

I just got my Telecaster back from a setup.
    • Shaved down the top of the nut so the strings arenít buried in it
    • Cut the bottoms off the saddle height screws
    • Adjusted the relief
    • Lubricated the truss rod adjuster
    • Adjusted saddle height and intonation
    • New strings

They should have sent me a one-pound bag of candy with all Tootsie Rolls and Bit-O-Honey.

They didn’t do it for my Epiphone LP Special.

    It’s a three-position switch, and as far as I can tell, it’s neck/both/bridge.

    It’s a Fender American Original ‘50s Telecaster.

That's the godfather of all Teles. Congrats! There is nothing more iconic than a butterscotch blackguard 50's Tele! So so so good!

Nice guitar. Nice grain on the body. Plus you get to relive all the quirks and annoyances of yesteryear like sharp edge pick guards, slotted screws and what to do with the spare ashtray. Living the dream. Iíd rock the hell out of that guitar. Nice score.

That would stay in the case; it gets in the way if you actually play the guitar.

That would drive me crazy. It drives me nuts that SDs come with slotted screws instead of phillips.

I could live with that as long as it's not too small. The neck on my Tele is from a MIM Blacktop, and it's on the thicker side of their standard C profile.

I'd have to REALLY like the guitar to put up with that.

    Good to have!

I'm not sure why I did this, but it seemed fun when I thought of it.

I also have a six-saddle bridge on my Tele. I know some call it sacrilege, but my idea of Tele tone doesn't include lousy almost-intonation.
