The MIJ Strats are very high quality from the few I have played personally. Those pics show why it's a high price. What do we get in the US, some crappy tobacco sunburst or a plain black or white? well, in the 80's the jap strats were made just as well if not better than the usa made ones.....esp ltd deluxe ec-1000 (amber sunburst)
