sm57 vs beta 57

How much better is the beta 57 than the SM57?
Is it noticable?

didn't notice too big a difference between the SM57 and the beta57 and the sm's are less expensive

the beta 58s are better for vocals though, i did notice that the beta's have a better resistnace to clips and sensitive sounds like p, s, and b, etc.. which is really good

Beta is not very good for guitars...a wee bit too much in the openrange.
But then again it is a personal preference

I like my beta over the sm57's also you can pick them out on ebay for like 100 bucks, might as well spend that extra 20.
