Just ebayed me a Boss DR-770. Any opinions on this?

Does anybody have experience with this? Like/dislike?

Going to record some tunes over the summer - I'm very inspired by Eric Johnson and Scott Henderson lately so I need rhythm rhythm and rhythm to practice Gonna try my DARN HARDEST to write EJ flavored instrumentals if it kills me this summer! (I've never really written anything, but now I know lots and lots of modal theory and chords)

Any other good drum machines?

I have one, although I dread programming it sometimes. LOL Nah, it's pretty much the last word in drum machines. Usually, a company like Boss comes out with a new
machine every year, but the 770 is so complete that they haven't really messed with it in years. The 770 gets great tones straight to tape, which sometimes sounds better and more balanced than a real kit, unless that drumset is in a good room with
8 good mics.
