  • Turning off the effects loop?

Hey guys, maybe someone could tell me if this could be done. I run three pedals before the amp, and two in the loop. The majority of the time, I play with all of them turned off, but it's still nice to have them for certain songs here and there. To improve the dry tone, I decided to build a true bypass box to put in front of the amp. That way, I can remove all three pedals from the chain and go straight into the amp. I have a two button footswitch that I use with my Classic 50. One button switches channels, one turns the reverb on and off. Since I always play with the reverb on, I'm wondering if it would be possible to rewire the amp so that the second button bypasses the effects loop? I've done some amp work before, but I'm really not sure how to go about doing something like this, or if it's even possible. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks.
