  • Which mic?!

So, I gonna be buying a microphone for vocals - "oooh!" - my choices are:

    - Shure SM58
    - Shure Beta 58A
    - AKG D3800
    - AKG D3800M

So far I've read that the Beta 58A is an extended freq version of the SM58, and better for close-up mic use.

How does the AKG D3800 compare to the Shures? I've heard it's better still. How is it for close-up mic use?

What's improvement are there on the D3800M over the D3800? Is it merely the module thing?

It's proving v.difficult finding mic reviews on the web, so any help would be much appreciated!
