I just finished playing a show at my school and am extremely embarased because I had two strings break at key times throughout the show
. As you know, it is not fun to string a floyd in the set once, but twice is unexceptible. The strings were Ernie Ball Slinky regulars (10-46), and I changed them and streched them the night before. Do you guys think that the strings break much easier when the floyd is blocked as opposed to floating. I don't feel comfortable playing this guitar at shows anymore. Does anyone have any recomendations to fix this problem on floyds. Does tonepros make anything like graphite? Any help is appreciated.
