    Re: Gibson LP

It's an arguable topic, but here's my advise. Over the next several years,
aquire these, and consider yourself "done."

    Gibson Les Paul Standard

    Fender Stratocaster

    Fender Telecaster

A Floyd Rose Equipped guitar (depending on your style, of course)

A Martin or Taylor Acoustic Guitar

A Marshall, or equivalent, depending on your gainy needs.

    A Fender Combo for Cleans.

Do this, and all your bases will be covered. Then, of course, you'll turn
into a gear junkie, and require far more. Click on "my gear"
and you'll see the end result of that disease.

      Re: Gibson LP

I've never owned a Gibson, but I'm on the verge of buying one this week if all goes well: a Les Paul Studio. My advice would be to try as many as you can to find the one that feels just right. I tried 6 of the L.P. Studios at the music store that I go to and found the one that feels like home. So comfortable. Good luck.
