  • marshamps?

i was looking for some kits, and came across this site www.marshamps.com
i was wondering if any of you know anything about them or have built their amp kits, they seem to offer the usual kits, at pretty good prices. they are also close to me, less shipping. 5e3 including cab and speaker for around 550 if i recall.. seem to be a bit less, but quality?

    thanks

    Re: marshamps?

I am under the impression that marsh kits are the same as mojo kits. just buys them from mojo.

I've talked to some in the know and it seems that the Mission Amps kits are a bit better. But Bruce doesn't really do all those kits. I emailed Marsh a few times and he seemed pretty cool.

    Whatcha going to build?

      Re: marshamps?

      im not really sure yet

originally i was favoring a jtm 45 or 18 watt head, but they cost alot and i still would need a cab. my amp is also very voxy/marshally, so i now im moving towards a fender type. prbly get either a 5e3 or similar, get a good speaker, (1X12 combo) and maybe get a really good spring / tube reverb for it. depends on my cash next winter, when im gonna by it. im gonna do it once ive gotten into a college, and hopefuly finish before the summmer
