Looking for some info on USA Mockingbirds, new and old. If you you have one please share the details - year, wood, electronics, etc. I am real interested in comments on the cutaway horns older style v. newer style and any real differences between them.
I owned an '84 all mahogany years back that was beautiful but had some balance issues. I have played some recently that don't have the same problem and I am seriously considering getting another one.
Ordering one to spec is laughable due to lead times, missed delivery schedules and the cost
I have found a few really nice used ones but I'm looking for a little input.
Anyone that has any tonal experience with koa please give me some idea of what I could expect.
