    He didn't put his name on them, his young wife (then girlfriend) is an artist and painted some of his guitars with her original artwork. If you consider the fool SG, this isn't much of a deviation from his acid days anyway. I think they are kinda cool myself.

          I'm not sure how much acid Clapton did back in the day, but he went to art school, and yes, his young wife is a graphic artist.

          However, his strats were painted by a New York graphitti artist, and he's selling at least one for funds for his Crossroads Center.

          I like 'em - I think it's a very cool idea having a strat that's also a work of art!

              I love the guitars, but if I were going to paint it.. I would have something unique done. I own to EC strats and am considering building a third. I have a good buddy that is an artist (pinsriper/murals, etc.) he said he woud paint the body and neck for me. I may just do it one day!
