i wanna sell my amp, and one of my friends is looking for an amp
i have a crate gx-30m. this is a discontinued model. Features (from the crate website) include 30w rms power, 12 inch speaker, 2channels, reverb (depth and rate), chorus, headphones, speakerline out, and i'd throw in a peavey footswitch that takes care of the chorus and distortion. it features the flexwave 5 preamp.
the new crate amps that have 30 watts all have 10 inch speakers
the xt30r is basically the same thing, it goes for 200 on MF and lists at 300. the only thing it has that mine doesnt is a rca cd input. but it the crate site says it has a 10" speaker, while it says mine has a 12" speaker.
my amp has 1 tiny tolex tear (in an unnoticible spot) the is 1/8" wide by 1/4" long. It also has 4 areas about the same size where i got some white paint on it. what would be a fair price for this amp? also, how could i get the white stuff out, cause i could raise the price then. the amp works fine, perfect, and is like new except for the things i mentioned. its had like 2 gigs, never been near a smoke, and been cared for extensivly
so what would be a fair price? if i dont sell it to him or to another local kid, i may put it on here. any other ideas, thanks
