I really liked it except for the head. Had some engravings and an oil finish or stain of some sort, floyd, invader.ect,,,,,,,,just that silly head lol.

I'd sure like to hear your thoughts on the slug btw, or even just how it compares to anything more common you have. (distortion,invader,x2n,ect)

The Scallops yes, the satin neck no.

Sorry i've been super swamped in emigration paperwork and writing my thesis right now, the SLUG is amazing, super fat and full, still relatively clear though it's closest to the X2N from my experience but almost like it's been put through a boost pedal.
i gave it to my blues lawyer friend into a Boss Katana and it pulled off a really good blues tone surprisingly.

That does sound like it would be very thick. I absolutely love the X2N loaded in my rg2570e and I do usually run some sort of "fat-boost" in front of the gain.
SLUG is another on my shortlist, but I really need some more guitars to house them,,,,,,but then really I don't. lol

I had to look up Karl Sanders.

That’s what happens when you let some artists get exactly what they want. I can tell you, about 0% of that was KxK’s idea.
