  • Good Gig Bag

    Good day,

What's a quality electric guitar gig bag that you have used that is sub $200? Bonus points if you've used this bag for flights.

    Thanks,

I have a poly foam case
    that is super light

    Made by Roadrunner

Most of my gig bags are the dust cover variety

I wouldn't trust a gig bag in an overhead bin
those little hard cases with wheels get shoved in
And I could just see tuners getting snapped off

I use the Gator Pro Go series. Great bag at a great price. The lower price Transit Series is great, too.

I am usually pretty loyal to Levy but I just got a bag from Protec and I am very happy with the bag's quality and storage options.

From my research, most people try to put their guitars in the coat closet on flights, assuming one is available.

Crossrock Hybrid. One for my electric guitar and one for my bass guitar. More confident in that gig bag then a wood hard case.
The higher-end gig bags are built like cars, they absorb the chock instead of passing the energy to the instrument inside.
